I can't believe there are less than 30 days left until I leave New York, and let me tell you, the next few weeks are jam packed! I have two important presentations (on the 25th and the 30th) in which I'll discuss my digital marketing insights and strategies moving forward. I still have A LOT of work to do on my presentations, but I luckily have an amazing support network at Amex to help me. This network is not only a group of wonderful Georgetown alumni, who have really jumped at the chance to help me with anything all summer (hoya saxa!), but also colleagues and other MBA interns I've gotten to know throughout the summer.
We also have a lot of fun planned for the rest of the summer too. Next week, I'm going to see Bring It On: The Musical (do not judge me - I got these tickets really cheap...and I think it's going to be amazing) and American Express is taking the intern class to Amateur Night at the Apollo. Then my roommates from undergrad are coming up for a mini reunion the following weekend - you'll never lack visitors when you live in NYC.
This weekend, my husband is coming up (hooray!) and I'm trying to convince him to go tandem bike riding with me and my bestfriends in Central Park. He's convinced I won't actually pedal and wants to ride with one of my friends - how rude! I'll make sure to take lots of pictures of that adventure. Wish me luck getting through the final push of my internship!
I enjoyed checking out your blog today and I will be back to check it more in the future so please keep up your good quality work. I love the colors that you chose, you are quite talented!

Hi Brita,
I'm a prospective applicant for Georgetown's full time MBA program (also looking to pursue marketing post-MBA). I would love to learn more about your digital marketing project at American Express. Did you take online marketing/social media classes prior to your internship?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Hoya Saxa!
