Hi all! My internship with American Express is going well! American Express is a very collaborative environment, so I've been meeting with tons of people across all of OPEN. It's great learning about all the different marketing functions and getting feedback on the strategy project I'm working on. So far so good!
A great thing about interning with American Express is that they really try to show interns the city. We have at least one big event in the city every week. So far, we've done a scavenger hunt, helped clean a park in Harlem, and gone to see the Broadway show Memphis. These events are especially good for networking because they mix interns up from different departments. Here's my group from the scavenger hunt outside the Bridge Cafe under the Brooklyn Bridge:
